IL NOCE” BED & BREAKFAST is located in the center of the wide valley Val Graziosa of Calci. Rich in flowing waters and surrounded by woods generously full of olive trees, which, from the peak of Monte Pisano, gradually descends towards the plain of the Arno.
Nowadays, this valley is still immersed in the nature and it is characterized by marvellous panoramas as the mountains of Pisa.
The two floor apartment of The tuscany bed and breakfast lodging Il Noce was constructed recently and it is comprised of three double-bedrooms which in two of them can be added a single bed, three private bathrooms for each bedroom, a dining room, a kitchen, and a private back yard. - the Serra Mountain is 10 km (about 6/7 miles) far and it is traversable by walking through paths identified by colored signs on the ground created by the Italian Alpino Club from the Pisa Section.
- The Certosa (Charterhouse) of Calci and the Natural and Territory History Museum is 3 km (about 2 miles) far. The museum is the inter-department center of Pisa’s University and conserves the natural finds formed in the ambit of the zoological, paleontological, and mineralogical research from 1591 to present.
- In the town centre rises the ancient parish church in pure Pisan style, with two aisles and a central nave, an ancient font, and an impressive bell tower.
- Downtown Pisa is 15 km (10 miles) far
- Tirrenia and Marina di Pisa beaches are 18 km ( 12miles ) far. Tirrenia is situated at the centre of The Tuscan coast and it is completely immersed in the Mediterranean pine-woods. It is located at a short distance from the cities of Pisa and Livorno. Therefore, it is possible to choose daily tours to Marina di Pisa and "Bocca d'arno", arose as a sea-side resort in the second half of the 1800s. It is characterized by big artificial rocks on the sea side and has beautiful liberty style Buildings and tourist structures on the opposite side. The natural Reserve of San Rossore - Migliarino – Massaciuccoli.
- Lucca is 20 km ( 13,5 miles) far.
- Other localities easy to reach are Florence, Volterra, Grosseto, and Viareggio.
